Agasthyarkoodam Trek – 3 Day Itinerary 🌿⛰️
Day 1 – Bonacaud → Athirumala Base Camp
Start the trek from Bonacaud in the morning and enter the beautiful Agasthyarkoodam forest.
Trek through dense evergreen forests, streams and scenic mountain trails while enjoying the rich biodiversity of the Western Ghats.
After approximately 16 km of trekking, reach Athirumala Base Camp.
Check in, freshen up and relax amidst the forest. Enjoy the peaceful evening and overnight stay at the base camp.

Day 2 – Athirumala → Agasthyarkoodam → Athirumala
Early morning, begin the trek towards the majestic Agasthyarkoodam peak.
The trail becomes more challenging as you climb higher, with rocky sections, steep slopes and breathtaking views of the surrounding Western Ghats.
Spend some time at the summit area and experience the unique beauty and spiritual atmosphere of Agasthyarkoodam.
Return to Athirumala Base Camp by evening and relax after the day’s trek.
Trek: Approx. 12 km Stay: Athirumala Base Camp
Day 3 – Athirumala → Bonacaud
After breakfast, start the return journey through the forest trails.
Enjoy the final stretch of the trek, passing streams, dense greenery and beautiful landscapes. Reach Bonacaud by afternoon/evening and conclude the Agasthyarkoodam adventure.
