Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 — Into the Wild
03:00 PM – Reporting at Enthayaar (12 km from Mundakkayam)
Arrival and assembly at the base station. Parking facility available.
An off-road jeep transfer takes you through forest trails to the base camp. Check in to a traditional mud house stay and settle into the quiet of the hills.
Evening refreshments will be served.
As night falls, set out on the Muthukora Mala night trek — a guided walk through the forest under the open sky.
Return to camp for dinner. Overnight stay at base camp.
Day 2 — The Real Journey
An early transfer brings you back to the base station. Extra luggage can be safely stored before the trek begins.
The Urumbikkara trek starts here. This is a moderately challenging route and not recommended for beginners. The trail extends towards Irumalachi Kallu, passing through untouched landscapes.
Along the way, experience: – Stream crossings and water trails – Expansive grasslands – Rocky terrain – A visit to Urumbikkara village
A packed lunch will be provided during the trek.
Return to base camp by jeep.
Departure with lasting memories.
